Origin Story
COVID-19 changed everything for our Principal & Founder, Corbin Beastrom. Within a matter of months he went from being engrossed in a Bay Area corporate staffing job, to wandering the streets of Pristina on what he now refers to as his "pandemic sabbatical."
During these listless days he noticed the hive of activity around the University, saw first-hand the dynamism of the local tech scene, and made connections with a talent pool that he candidly judged as being sharper, more industrious, and significantly more cost efficient than their global peers. With that, Illyrian's basic idea of empowering growth through distributed work and global teams was launched.
